In accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letters a), b) and f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), CVAG processes data on the basis of Article 5 GDPR in its capacity as a provider of media services. The handling of personal data takes place in accordance with the following basic principles:
- Personal data is processed lawfully and transparently in an understandable manner.
- Personal data is only processed for the necessary purpose.
- Data gathering is kept to the minimum that is necessary.

We respect and protect the privacy of our customers:
- The transparent processing of personal data takes place by means of publication of the information under Article 13 GDPR at www.cvag.de/datenschutz.
- The processing of personal data on the basis of legitimate interests is the most important permissive rule of the GDPR alongside consent and contractual relationship.
- Only persons over the age of 16 can give consent.
- The consent must be given voluntarily and the opportunity to choose must therefore be provided.
- We observe the principle of data economy and only gather such data which is necessary for applications.
- We provide data deletion functions in all applications. You can use these functions to fully and finally delete the whole of your personal data inventory at any time.
- Our apps only request the minimum user data in the pre-settings. We only save this data following an express registration and therefore with the consent of the user.
- The consent to the processing of data for advertising purposes (for example advertising sent by telephone, post, fax and/or email, registration for the newsletter) is voluntary in all apps.
- Your data is not generally transferred to third parties, unless the transfer of data is required by law.
